Movax Oy is the inventor of the modular, vibratory side grip pile driver technology. Movax Oy’s inventions have resulted in numerous patents (50+) and its trademark, MOVAX®, is registered and well known for the quality it represents all over the world.
In the early 1990’s sheet piling was an becoming an increasingly utilized working method at construction sites. There was a real need for a faster and more efficient way to install sheet piles. At that time MOVAX started to develop the side grip technology with the objective to meet the specific demands of customers and job sites. The first MOVAX sheet piler was commissioned in 1993. In order to obtain the highest possible efficiency from the side grip technology it was from early-on clear that more advanced steering was necessary. The first version of Auto-steering for hydraulic excavators was introduced by MOVAX in 1996.
MOVAX has always had a strong commitment in developing it's products and services. Throughout the years, the product family has grown from a single sheet piler model used for retaining walls & cofferdams to a comprehensive modular-design side grip vibratory pile driver product family utilised to drive a variety of different type of piles, for retaining walls, coffersdams and piled foundations alike.
Through continuous development the control system – vital to the fast, efficient and safe operation of the MOVAX piling equipment - has become more intelligent, easeir-to-operate - and more so - meeting the ever-growing needs of customers for productivity, efficiency and quality. The aim is and has always been to fulfil the demands of the customers and the job sites. MOVAX product development always starts at a job site. That is why the end results have proved to be working extremely well in real life.
Over the years Movax Oy has always focused solely on solutions for the piling & foundation industry.
