Movax delivered SG-50V pile driver in January 2013 to Australian civil construction company JPMI Pty Ltd. The machine has installed numerous Sheet Piles and H Beam piles on projects in Australia since. Recent project for Movax SG-50V was installing 400 x 310 deep x 9.8m long H – Beam piles to repair a wharf in Innisfail Queensland. The wharf was severely damaged by Cyclone Yasi in 2012. JPMI installed the piles to extend the life of the jetty. The Movax was suited to the project as the piles were not completely vertical and each pile was installed at varying angles due to the settlement of the existing wharf.
