German company Ed. Züblin AG has got noise reduction wall projects from Deutsche Bahn AG. Wall is going to be built on 711 mm diameter and 5,5 m long tubular piles. Project in Winsen, near Hamburg, they are driving total 9000 m tubular pile to build noise reduction wall. Next project in Oldenburg requires 17000 m tubular pile driving.
To install 711 mm piles they will use Movax SG-50 with special tube driving arms, installed on Liebherr A900C ZW railway excavator. Excavator is equipped with Movax AutoC control and adjustable boom sensor to enable flexible and accurate pile driving. In other projects they have to drive also 610 mm and 508 mm diameter and 7,5 m long tubular steel piles, for those diameters they have modular arm system with quick change clamps. In Oldenburg they use also second Liebherr A900 with Movax SP-50W.
