In the beginning of 2010 a company called Chrobok was appointed to carry out the piling work for foundation of a new road traffic bridge. The bridge was built over the Plonka river that is close to the town of Plonsk in the northeast of Poland.
Company Chrobok was founded in 1991 by Henry and Hubert Chrobok. They operate on civil engineering and construction throughout the whole country. Chrobok is one of Polands leading sheet piling and drilling company with a large range of modern machinery.
Chrobok owns two Movax Side-Grip Sheet Pilers, one SP-60 F which is mounted on CAT 325D and one SPH-80 mounted on CAT 330D. The piling work at the jobsite in Plonsk included among other works the construction of the sheet pile wall around the bridge basements. The sheet pile wall consisted E-600 sheet piles in the length between 6 and 8 meters. The piling and extraction works were conducted by Movax SPH-80 which was mounted on CAT 330D.
