The inhabitants of the town of Ermatingen on the lake of Constance in Switzerland released in 2017 the budget to renew their pier and harbour.
An important part of the job was accomplished by the company Kündig & Winkler AG with MOVAX excavator mounted piling equipment. The bulkhead was done in two stages in springtime 2019 with piles of 8 and 9m length. The first part of 1830 m2 was completed with a Doosan DX340LC-5 equipped with a Movax SG-75V within eight (8) days. The second part of 875 m2 was done in four (4) days with a Doosan DX255LC equipped with a Movax SG-60V. In total 520 piles were processed.
The construction is planned to be completed and officially handed over on the 1st of August 2020.
